שטח הוא מידת חלק של משטח (או במקרה פרטי, מידת חלק של מישור). את השטח מודדים לרוב במטר רבוע (מ"ר או מ²) או ביחידות אחרות המהוות כפולה של מטר רבוע במספר מסוים. בישראל נהוג למדוד שטח של קרקע בדונם (או דונם מטרי, השווה ל-1000 מ"ר).
