ספרי השנים
ספרי השנים או אנלים (לטינית: Annales) הם רשימות קצרות, המסודרות לפי סדר כרונולוגי. ספרי השנים היוו רשימת אירועים שהתרחשו בפרק הזמן אותו ביקשו לתאר, לרוב שנה ירחית. בין האירועים המצוינים בהם היו טקסים דתיים וחגיגות דתיות, כיבושים וקרבות משמעותיים בעיני הכותב, ובעלי תפקידים שכיהנו בשנה הנדונה. ספרי השנים מהווים מקור חשוב לחקר ההיסטוריה של רומא העתיקה הקדומה, ומעידים על התפתחות המשטר הרומי בראשיתו. לרוב, נשמרו ספרי השנים במקדשים הראשיים.
